Professor Anna Visits TechGYRLS
I got to visit the YWCA this Saturday, where I talked to TechGYRLS, a program designed to get middle school and high school girls interested in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math). We talked about surface tension, bugs that walk on water, and surfactants. We tried to get paper clips to float on water, but it wasn’t as easy as it looks!
