Nick Alvarez got a chance to present a paper entitled “A Robust Non-Gradient Based Algorithm for Determining Surface Tension from a Pendant Drop” at the 4th International Marangoni Association Conference on Interfacial & Microfluid Dynamics and Processes.  The conference was held October 21-23, 2008 in Tokyo University of Science, Chiba, Japan.
